SEASONAL TIPS

SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER/NOVEMBER   2010

1. Apply a well balanced fertilizer in October/November and a Pre- Emergent in September. Best time is just before a good rainfall. In October apply a trusted Weed and Feed product for post emergent weed control.

2. Install new mulch to keep beds weed free.

3. Turn irrigation systems on an as needed basis only. Do not overwater.

4. Install new beds.  

5. Install that new sprinkler system.

6. Install a water feature or a pondless waterfall.

7. Install that new landscape or clean up existing one.

8. Apply a fertilizer to all bed areas. 

9. Prune shrubs.

10. Trim crepe myrtles in January/February.
